Nannies

All nanny applicants must love taking care of and working with children. It is important to understand that a nanny is responsible for nurturing and facilitating a child’s social, physical, emotional and cognitive growth and development. Nannies are partners with the parents and must take this responsibility seriously. Our job is to make the best possible match between the nanny’s and the parents’ childrearing philosophies. We believe that the placement is as much about finding a great family for the nanny as it is about finding a great nanny for the family. NannyCare Connections carefully screens families as well. It is our goal to meet with each family personally. They are also required to fill out an extensive application for the nanny candidate to review.

  • Number and ages of children
  • Responsibilities
  • Geographical location
  • Level of experience

Compensation Package

In addition to the salary, the family will provide a private room or living quarters for live-in nannies. A car is usually provided for the nanny to transport the children and run errands. In some cases, the car is for personal use as well. A nanny can usually expect two weeks paid vacation, at least 6 paid holidays, health insurance, and travel with the family. Again all benefits are negotiated and agreed upon between the family and the nanny prior to starting a position. Some other benefits may include health club memberships, tuition reimbursement, and travel.
